Tried the pho with beef slices. The soup didn't taste good, the near slices were thick and the portion was small :(

Amazing food! Very friendly. Freshly prepared and made to order. This is not a fast food type place and the taste of the food and presentation was amazing and worth the wait. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent food and the lady who is always working there is extremely hospitable and friendly, she makes everyone feel welcome and has conversations with people that feel personal and you can tell she cares a lot about her restaurant and customers. The food is good, you can get a lot of quality food for a low price and there are lots of vegan/vegetarian friendly options.

The char siu is so flavorful and juicy, it reminds me of when my grandmother made it when I was younger

Just ate there again today, and the place hasn't changed...still the same great selections, and the hostess remembered what I liked and what my wife liked. I think I have been coming here for about 30 years now!

Place doesn't look like much, but very authentic and delicious food. The duck pho was great and I cannot wait to go again and try their other dishes.

This is an amazing place owned by an amazing older couple. Even if you're just carrying food out, you'll be offered tea while you wait.

Had their roasted duck, sesame chicken, shrimp spring rolls, and peppered steak Everything was perfect! The skin on the duck was very crispy and the fat just melted in your mouth! We will definitely be back often!

This is my most favorite Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai restaurant. Their food is amazing and cooked to order. Fresh and flavorful every time. She fed all my craving through 2 pregnancies and has watched both my kids grow up. If you want authentic Asian cuisine this is the place for you. Always love the food. They cook the tofu very well and it always comes out nice and hot. The lady who works there is always super friendly.

I got my wisdom teeth out so anyone else with this experience know how difficult it is to eat anything. I was looking congee in the area and found Dac Hoa. It was super tasty and a huge portion. My boyfriend also order soup and chow mein. Everything was delicious and very authentic. They also delivered it super quickly.

Delicious duck dishes and also great bubble teas. The staff is friendly and will help if you have questions or need suggestions.

The food is fresh, even the soups are made to order. The owner takes your order and then the whole place is silent. I feel clean every time I leave, it's a holy place like the library.

This place had some delicious banh cuon. The pho was good. Bbq pork was delectable. Prices we're great along with portion sizes. The owners are very nice. Overall, would recommend 10/10.

I've only tried their Pho Ga and honestly, it's so good that I haven't bothered trying anything else yet. Service is quick, the staff are so sweet, and the food is INCREDIBLE!

Empty place and slow service. Went for a quick pho lunch and was there over an hour. Portion was smaller then expected, beef pho was fine, chicken pho is a no go.

We walked into a quiet restaurant just opening up. The friendly staff greeted, sat, and served us water and then warm tea. They were extremely helpful and willing to provide food recommendations; be sure to give their recommendations strong consideration. The shrimp spring rolls were good, and the pan seared pork dumplings were delicious and so was the pho with duck. I recommend this place and will be back.

If you're in downtown Rochester and looking for some authentic Vietnamese food Dac Hoa is a great choice. The dumplings are hand made, get them pan fried instead of steamed and you'll be in heaven. Being an authentic Asian restaurant if you order the roasted duck it will have bones in it, just a pre warning. The pho is delicious, if you like it spicy be sure to ask for some chili oil and they'll bring out the real spice for you!

Solid food here. Best known for their roasted Pekin duck. Order whole duck, they chop it to manageable pieces and send home with you.

Food is generally good, though my wife's fried rice wasn't hot. The place is grundgy. The tea pot and soy sauce bottle were dirty on the outside, as was my soup spoon, which I had to clean with a napkin. All the waitress says when you bring this to her attention is "OK." She makes no attempt to rectify the situation. The rest rooms are also dirty.
